You have been in the same Real Estate Office for five years. How do you feel about that?

Proud. It shows that they value my work and ability.

Utterly unhappy! It's time for a change in my life.

Pensive There must be some alternatives

You are working on an important matter when another important issue arrives on your desk. How do you react?

The first thing I do is ask one of my associates to take care of it.

That doesn't work for me. I don't like starting something new until I finish the job I'm working on.

I'm happy. It will introduce some variety into my day.

Do you jot down what you have to accomplish each day?

As a matter of principle, I don't. All that does is waste time.

Yes. First thing. Every morning. You need a schedule if you want to work effectively.

Only if my time is very limited and I have to accomplish many tasks.

Do you frequently work on the weekend?

Yes. I like to clean up problems.

No. I draw the line there. I'd rather work harder on Mondays.

No. I have to finish everything before the weekend. Working on weekends is out of the question for me.

You have three weeks of vacation. What are you going to do with them?

I always know six months in advance where I'm going.

Once again, I didn't make reservations early enough. I'll spend three weeks relaxing at home.

At the last minute, I'll book a flight, even if it means I'll return to work four days late.

At the moment, you have a great deal of work on your hands. What does your desk look like?

Total chaos, as always. I can't manage to get it cleaned up.

Admittedly, it looks awful at the moment, but as soon as I have some extra time, I'll clean it up.

My desk is always perfectly neat, even if I am under pressure.

Do you sometimes work late?

I am always there if there is an emergency.

Only if I'm receiving a big commission.

No. If I cannot finish something, it waits until the next morning.

The Broker of Record is out of town, and your Office manager is ill. An issue on your closing comes to your desk. What do you do?

I get nervous. Rather than doing something wrong, I wait until one of them returns.

I search for the papers in question and take care of the matter.

I'm not concerned. It's not my responsibility.

By chance, you hear that today is a female associate’s birthday. You've known her for many years. So, you:

Quickly purchase a suitable gift.

Congratulate her, but no more. You don't believe in giving presents to fellow associates.

Go around the department collecting money for a large bouquet of flowers

Think of your place of work. How would you describe it?

It's very comfortable, almost like a second home. I have many plants and any number of pictures on the walls.

With the exception of my coffee mug, hardly anything is personal.

Everything is clean and functional. I only keep the essentials.

You made a big mistake at the office. What are you going to do?

I try to make up for my mistakes by being especially productive.

No problem. My excuses are usually so original that they make every supervisor smile.

Anyone can make a mistake. Brokers and managers should understand that. Learn from our mistake

Monday morning! How do you generally begin the work week?

First, I go around and ask my fellow associates, what they did over the weekend.

I close the door and start my work. I have no interest in my fellow associates ' weekend activities.

Although I'm always bored, I listen to my fellow associates ' weekend stories. It is better than starting to work.
