(March 3, 2010) – A total of 21 real estate agents from the RE/MAX Connection / RE/MAX Classic family of companies received Circle of Excellence Gold, Silver and Bronze medals for 2009 from the New Jersey Association of Realtors (NJAR).
If the 21 Circle of Excellence medals were Olympic medals, the Connection/Classic team would have finished fifth at the just-completed Winter Games in Vancouver, just between Norway with 23 medals and Austria with 16.
“We believe all of our Realtors are winners, but we are especially proud of our ‘medalists’,” said Christopher J. Brown, chairman and CEO of RE/MAX Connection Realtors and Managing Partner of RE/MAX Classic Group. “These 21 agents showed they are among the best in the state with their stellar 2009 sales results.”
Of the 21 medals, 12 were won by the two South Jersey RE/MAX Connection offices (10 from Mantua and two from Marlton), with the other nine coming from the three North Jersey RE/MAX Classic offices (five from West Milford, three from Branchburg and one from Basking Ridge).
The Connection/Classic family of agents won one Gold medal and three Silver medals with the remainder being Bronze. Three of the four Gold and Silver medals went to agents at the Mantua office of RE/MAX Connection.
The team’s Gold medal went to Mantua’s Mark Petracci, who also was the #1 RE/MAX agent in the state for 2009. Mantua’s two Silver medals went to Brent Grigsby and Scott Kompa. The third Silver medal was awarded to agent Courtney Orlando from the RE/MAX Classic office in Branchburg.
Here, listed by office, are the Bronze medal winners from the RE/MAX Connection / RE/MAX Classic team:
-- Mantua, Gloucester County: Kristin Cregan, Janet Larsen, Christopher McKenty, James Moeller, Jennifer Pagliarini, David Sulvetta, Brian Ziegenfuss.
-- West Milford, Passaic County: Jason Brinker, Rob Burr, Lorra Cowell, Linda McCullough, Karen Wiedmann.
-- Marlton, Burlington County: Dawn McCann, Yvette Veidemann.
-- Branchburg, Somerset County: Lynn Fallat, Ann Marie “Cookie” Lukas.
-- Basking Ridge, Somerset County: Brent Franklin.
Four levels of Circle of Excellence medals are awarded each year by the NJAR and all are based on either a “dollar & unit method” or a “strictly unit method.” The highest level, Platinum, is earned when an agent either sells 125 units OR sells 30 units and posts $25 million in sales.
The other three medal-level benchmarks are:
-- Gold: 90 units OR 25 units and $15 million in sales.
-- Silver: 70 units OR 20 units and $7.5 million in sales.
-- Bronze: 30 units OR 15 units and $3 million in sales.
